Again, if it sometimes they need to verify underlayment inspections of things that are covered up. So that’s one problem you could have from not pulling a permit and getting the proper inspections.

goes like remodeling and things like that. So that as long as you make sure that everything is up to code, like the maximum, they can go to your house and check and if everything is up to code, they’ll give you a fine. My name is Monica marine from Canvas Real Estate. And I’m here in Ben and Boss Construction Group in their class. And I just want to thank them because this was an amazing class, we learn a lot, sometimes you get to, you list a property and you don’t know how many problems this property has with liens with any any open permits. So it’s really good to have someone like them behind you, that they can guide you through the process. So you don’t get to the closing table. Without knowing that there’s a problem with the property,

They’ll give you a fine. And the other problem is in a shower, sometimes like underneath that tiling is do rock which is hard board cement board. Again, if it sometimes they need to verify underlayment inspections of things that are covered up. So that’s one problem you could have from not pulling a permit and getting the proper inspections. In that case, you need to get an engineer or you need to open the wall and the closet behind the shower show the inspector it’s there.

We just started a lot of information on one of our presentations regarding potential code violation and permit resolution issues that come up while we’re in terms of a closing. And we were very happy to see a great turnout today and share a lot of important information I help our agents have a more successful and timely closing. So we’re very happy to partake and we hope to put together more events similar to this in the future.

I have a property in Pompano where there’s drywall behind the shower. And it’s a condominium. And condos are different because you’re attached to someone else. And this causes a lot of litigation in the building and problems. So that’s why again, if you’re in a single family you’re allowed to you’re even allowed to act as your own contractor
